Dr Bishwa Kallyan Dash; completed his PhD from West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata under the guidance and supervision of Prof(Dr) P. Ishwara Bhat, Vice-Chancellor, WBNUJS. Dr Dash also did his LLM from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore with Human Rights as his specialized area, BA, LLB (Hons) from University Law College, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar;
Prior to taking up the position of Assistant Professor of law at Institute of Law, Nirma University; Dr Dash was appointed as a Faculty of Law at National Law University Odisha, Cuttack. He has also served as a Research fellow at the Commons Cell, under the chair on Urban poor and the Law; MHUPA chair, Govt. of India; at NLSIU, Bangalore. He has worked as the Co-ordinator of “Centre for Research and Management of Natural Resources (CRAMON) at NLUO, Cuttack” and also as a member at the “Centre for Outreach and Research in agriculture and Laws (CORAL) at NLUO, Cuttack”. His current research focus is on issues related to Cyber laws, Constitutional law, RTI and Environmental Law. He has been working as the Editor of Nirma University Law Journal (NULJ) an UGC recognized double blind peer review bi-annually published by Institute of Law, Nirma University.
He has received recommendation letters for his outstanding organisational ability from Prof. (Dr.) R. Venkat Rao, Vice Chancellor, NLSIU; for successfully organising many a events for the institution.
