Nirma University Students’ Welfare Board (SWB) and Institute of Law (ILNU) organised National Youth Day celebration to mark the 160th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on January 12, 2023. The documentary titled ‘Documentary on Swami Vivekananda by Film Division, Government of India’ was screened at the Seminar Hall. It was followed by a discussion by Prof. Nitesh Chaudhary, Assistant Professor, ILNU on the life and works of Swami Vivekananda. In line with the essential teachings of Swami Vivekananda, Professor Chaudhary urged the young minds to be critical and creative about our past, to be able to see God in human beings around us and to feel pluralism and empower people through education. The event was attended by all faculty members and students at the institute. The library team also organised a display of the books on Swami Vivekananda at the Institute.
