The Institute of Law, Nirma University organised the International Teaching Month from January 8 to February 27, 2026. There were several resource persons invited, physically and virtually including, Dr. Ricky Lee, Senior Lecturer at University of Canterbury, Dr. Andras Hars, Senior Lecturer at Ludovika University of Public Service, Dr. Ylli Dautaj, Associate Professor at Durham University, Dr. Adam Dubin, Professor at Faculty of Law, Comillas Universidad Pontifica, Dr. Venkat Iyer, Senior Lecturer at School of Law, Ulster University, Dr. Phillipe Cullet, Professor of Law at SOAS, London, Dr. Dietmar Boerner, Professor at HoF University, Germany, Dr. Pranav Menon, Director and Legal Services and Data Privacy Specialist Specialist at Law & Compliance, GreenPoint Global, Dr. Elmarie Fourie, HOD of Public Law at University of Johannesburg. A certificate course on Air and Space Law was offered by Prof. Ricky Lee, which was attended by 100 students. Other specialised courses were also offered in International Business Transactions and German Labour Law. Further, lectures by the experts were taken in areas of hate speech, media law, alternative dispute resolution, human rights, AI & Law, environmental law, and IPR. Online lectures were also conducted on labour law and human rights and vulnerable workers and labour law. Students were also imparted moot training and given career counselling sessions by the ITM experts.
