The Sports Committee at ILNU organised The Semester Cup 2026, a flagship event under Sports from March 31 – April 6, 2026. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of all semesters, who competed across five categories of Football, Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball and Tug of War. Throughout the course of the competition, every participant demonstrated incredible talent, sportsmanship, and vigor. Semester 8 emerged as the Overall Champion of the Semester Cup 2026, clinching the title after a stellar performance across all events. Their dedication, teamwork, and relentless determination have set a benchmark for future participants. Semester 6 emerged as the Runners-up put up a remarkable fight throughout the tournament, showcasing exceptional skill and determination. A special highlight and an exciting moment from this year’s tournament was the faculty members’ team emerged victorious in Cricket. Their participation added a unique charm to the event and further strengthened the sense of community and camaraderie. The collective efforts of the sports coordinators, referees, volunteers, and supporting staff made the Semester Cup 2026, a grand success.
