The Campus Recruitment Cell, Institute of Law, Nirma University, in collaboration with The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), organised an insightful session on “Company Secretary (CS): A Career with Endless Opportunities” on 10 September 2026.
The session featured Mr. Jaymeen Trivedi, Chairman, Managing Committee, ICSI Ahmedabad Chapter, and CS RV Dr. Abhishek Chhajed, Secretary, Western India Regional Council of ICSI, who shared their valuable insights and professional experiences with the students.
The session provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the Company Secretary profession, its career pathways, emerging opportunities, and the evolving role of Company Secretaries in the corporate landscape. The speakers highlighted the diverse responsibilities undertaken by Company Secretaries and the growing significance of the profession in areas such as corporate governance, regulatory compliance, corporate law, and strategic decision-making.
