Pedagogy

ILNU relies on a combination of pedagogical tools to provide an environment conducive to learning. The curriculum offers opportunities for learners with different aptitudes and promotes self-learning. Our Faculty members not only keep abreast of the recent developments and research in their respective fields but also regularly involve students in research-based learning. This is reflected in the research output, i.e. publications and conferences that our faculty contributes to. The Institute of Law has identified significant domains of interdisciplinary knowledge relevant to legal studies.

The Academic Research Centres under the supervision of faculty members with proven knowledge and expertise in each of these domains of knowledge facilitate intensive learning and research. Further, there is an emphasis on application of theory where students apply their conceptual knowledge to legal issues and problems. To enable the students to gain a better insight into the working of the legal profession, a practical work component has been added to all the courses.
