Certificate Course on Maritime Litigation & Practices (Second Edition)
Certificate Course on Maritime Litigation & Practices (Second Edition)
Maritime law is a significant area of domestic and international law, both public and private, with shipping law forming an important sub-discipline. This intensive certificate course is designed in the area of maritime litigation and practices — covering legal issues arising from activities at sea, including vessel collisions, cargo claims, marine insurance, and arrest of vessels, drawing on both domestic statutes and international conventions.
On completion of the programme, participants will be equipped to identify, analyse and advise on a wide spectrum of maritime legal issues from commercial disputes and admiralty claims to marine insurance and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and will gain a working understanding of how maritime litigation is conducted before Indian and foreign forums.
