Dr. Devang Chhatrapati is an Assistant Professor and the faculty coordinator for the Student Activities Committee (NILSAC) and the Anti-Ragging Cell at the Institute of Law, Nirma University. He earned his Ph.D. in Law from Gujarat University and also holds a Master of Commerce (M. Com) and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Dr. Chhatrapati commenced his academic career as an Assistant Professor of Law at Gujarat National Law University, where he remained from 2008 to 2011. He subsequently held a position as an Assistant Professor of Law at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, from 2011 to 2014. Following his tenure in academia, he practised as an advocate in the High Court of Gujarat from 2014 to 2019. Moreover, Dr. Chhatrapati has contributed to the academic community as a visiting faculty member at both the Institute of Management and the Institute of Pharmacy at Nirma University, as well as at the Gujarat Law Society. He has published research articles in journals indexed by SCOPUS and Web of Science, in addition to various other peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Chhatrapati has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, workshops, seminars, and training programs, further solidifying his expertise in the field of law.
