About
Dr. Neelesh Shukla holds a Ph.D. in Law from GD Goenka University, specializing in the protection of Intellectual Property Rights under International Investment Agreements. He completed his LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights from National Law University Jodhpur and his BBA LL.B. (Honours) from National Law University Odisha.
With over 5 years of teaching experience, Dr. Shukla has served as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, and ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad. His research interests lie in Intellectual Property Law, Technology Law and Investment Law.
Dr. Shukla has interned with eminent legal institutions, including the Supreme Court of India under Hon’ble Justice N.V. Ramana and the IPR Division at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
He has authored several research papers, including:
1. "Patent Evergreening as part of India–UK Free Trade Agreement: A Dilemma for India" (Kashmir Journal of Legal Studies).
2. "The Conundrum of Royalty Sharing in the Indian Film & Music Industry – Special Emphasis on OTT & Audio Streaming Platforms" (South India Journal of Social Sciences).
3. "Landscape of Research on Energy and Cryptocurrency: Energy Assessment of Legalizing Cryptocurrencies in India" (Army Institute of Law, Mohali Law Journal).
In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Shukla has contributed to legal education and administration, serving as:
*Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Rights at ILNU.
*Faculty Convenor of the Moot Court Committee at ILNU.
*Member Secretary of the Student Welfare Board at ILNU.
Through his academic and administrative contributions, Dr. Shukla continues to engage in research, mentorship, and institutional development in the field of law.
