With 64 teams participating from across India, the team faced fierce competition in every round from the two preliminary rounds to the finals. The team’s research and argumentation on Corporate Criminal Liability and the interplay of NDPS and the Companies Act was appreciated by the distinguished judges at the competition.
The team comprising Aagam Bakliwal (Batch 2023), Bhumika Agarwal (Batch 2023), and Som Sharma (Batch 2023) has emerged as the Winners at the National Moot Court Competition on Consumer Protection Law 2024 organised by the NUSRL, RANCHI, in collaboration with Ministry of Consumer Affairs and Food and Public Welfare.
Furthermore, Bhumika Agarwal (Batch 2023) emerged as the Best Speaker at the competition. With 20 teams participating from across India, the team encountered intense competition in every round, from the two preliminary rounds to the finals. Furthermore, the team is invited by the Minister of Consumer Affairs for felicitation on 24th December 2024 (National Consumer Day).

The team from Institute of Law Nirma University comprising Vidhi Chhabra, Eva Gupta and Divyanshi Maheshwari won the Delhi Metropolitan Education National Moot Court Competition organized by DME Law School affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) held on April 6th and 7th. Anchal Kanthed (Batch 2020) and Juhi Bhayani (Batch 2020) qualified for the prestigious 15th Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition organised by the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Their memorial was ranked as the Third Best English Language Memorial among more than 50 teams participating worldwide and was awarded the title of Best English Language Memorial of India. Additionally, they were ranked among the top speakers in the preliminary global rounds.
The team comprising Daisy Jain (Batch 2020), Divya Karda (Batch 2020), and Krishnakant Bakliya (Batch 2020) has been adjudged as the Runners-up of the 16th NUJS – Herbert Smith Freehills National Moot Court Competition, 2024. Additionally, the team won the citation for Best Written Submission (Respondent), and Divya Karda received the citation for the best speaker. The competition was held on January 26-27, 2024.

The Xavier’s Pre-UADC Asian Parliamentary Debate 2024 organised by St. Xaviers College, Kolkata from April 12th-14th, 2024. Our participant Tanshi Tiwari (Batch 2026) selected as 3rd Best Adjudicator of the debate and went on to judge the Open Grand Finals of the debate. Anishq Nair (Batch 2028) was the adjudicator and judged the Novice Finals of the debate. The team comprising Khushi Dhaulakhandi (Batch 2028), Shaunak Saha (Batch 2028), Srinivas Iyer (Batch 2028) were the Novice Semi-Finalists of the tournament.
The English Debating Society of Kamala Nehru College organised the 8th edition of Munaazrah Gender and Sexual Minorities Asian Parliamentary Debate 2024 from 20th April 2024 to 22nd April 2024. Tanshi Tiwari (Batch 2026) declared as 2nd Best Adjudicator of the tournament and a Panellist at the Open Grand Finals.

Tanshi Tiwari (Batch 2021) served as an adjudicator and panelist at the Open Octo-Finals and Novice Finals of the 16th Annual NUJS Parliamentary Debate Competition 2024, held from February 23 – 25, 2024 hosted by The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences. She was the 3rd Best Adjudicator. Siddharth Shrivastava (Batch 2021) acted as an adjudicator and panelist at the Open Octo-Finals. Additionally, the team comprising N. The Cambridge British Parliamentary Qualifiers organised by Indian Debating League, were held on January 28, 2024. The qualifiers were conducted to screen Team India’s contingent for Cambridge IV 2024. Partha Singh (Batch 2026) was awarded the Best Judge at the Cambridge British Parliamentary Qualifiers.

Priyanshi Rachchh (Batch 2024) and Aarush Sharma (Batch 2024) were invited as the Adjudicators at the Intertext School British Parliamentary Debate organized on November 18-19, 2023. Mr. Aarush also chaired the Open Grand Finals and was the Highest-scoring Adjudicator on the Tab while Ms. Priyanshi judged the Open Semi-Finals and the under-16 Finals.

We are thrilled to announce that the team comprising Ananya Kaushik (Batch 2027), Srinanda Chatterjee (Batch 2027), and Sreshta Chowdermet (Batch 2027) were declared as the Novice Winner of the Tournament and were also the Top Breaking Novice Team. Devashish Trivedi (Batch 2015) at the 40th World Universities Debate Championship (WUDC) 2020 in Bangkok, Thailand. Devashish defied convention to secure an Open Break as an Adjudicator, becoming one among a handful of Indian debators to secure a break in the 40 year old history of the Championship.
Devashish Trivedi declared Best Adjudicator at the competition, Jahnavi Pandey and Nivedita Singh of first year, qualified for the Novice Semi Finals. Prakshi Singh qualified for the Reserved Novice Semi Finals.
Subham Krishna Borah was the 3rd Best Adjudicator at the Punjab Engineering College Asian Parliamentary Debate, Chandigarh. A total of 110 adjudicators competed against each other.
Devashish Trivedi and Shubham Borah secured adjudicator break-ins at the 12th Annual Hansraj Debate i.e. ‘Shanti’ which was held at Hansraj College, Delhi in February, 2019. The format of the debate was a parliamentary debate and saw the top law colleges of India competing in it. Shubham Borah became a finals judge and was among the top 5 adjudicators of the tournament.

Feni Neelesh Katariya (Batch 2026) participated in the 19th WKI International Karate Championship 2023 and secured Gold Medal in Kumite Competition and Bronze Medal in Kata Competition. The competition was organized by Wado Kai Karate Do Federation of India from November 24 to November 26, 2023 at Port Stadium, Vishakhapatnam, India. Ten countries participated in the International Championship and India won the International Championship Trophy.

Institute’s Football Team, won the Inter Institute Football Tournament as a part of the Sports Festival, 2018, Nirma University. The team beat the football team from Institute of Technology, Nirma University by a margin of 2-1 to secure a win in the finals.
The team comprising Yash Mittal and Ritesh Goyal were adjudged winners of Law Learners 5th National Law Quiz Competition, 2018 organized in association with Legal Desire. The quiz was conducted from 29th November – 1st December, 2018 having two preliminary rounds comprising 30 questions and a Final Round comprising 40 questions. The team secured 1st position out of 240 participants and has won Gift Hampers worth ₹10,000/-.
