Maritime law is a significant area of study of domestic and international law in public as well as private nature. Where the shipping law is a sub-section of maritime law. This intensive certificate course is designed in the area of maritime litigation and practices, legal issues arising from activities on the sea, including vessel collisions, cargo claims, and maritime insurance, and involves both domestic and international laws. The course is designed for 60 hours; it is a Six Months, Part Time, Online Mode Four Quadrant – Four Credit Course (Four Quadrant Approaches – Quadrant 1: e-Tutorial (Video) Quadrant 2: e-Content (PDF, Text, e-Books, Illustrations and Documents) including Web resources (Open Content etc.). Quadrant 3: Assessment (Problem/ Solutions, MCQs, Short answers type, Quizzes, Assignments etc.). Quadrant 4: Discussion.
