The Journal of Intellectual Property Law published by Institute of Law, Nirma University shall have specific objectives:
- To promote the activities of research in the domain of Intellectual Property Rights and aims to encourage writings on contemporary IPR issues across different disciplines.
- To provide platform to the researcher/ research scholars/ faculty members to share the findings of their research with the global community.
- To contribute in generation and dissemination of new knowledge.

- All the submissions shall be accompanied by an abstract of 350-500 words. The word limit for abstract is exclusive of the word limit for main paper submission.
- Entries can be co-authored however, a maximum of two authors per entry is allowed. Only original work is invited and any kind of plagiarism will lead to disqualification of the paper.
- Submissions must follow the OSCOLA citation style.
- AI-generated content is strictly prohibited. The similarity index is as per UGC guidelines.
- The author’s identity or affiliations must not be mentioned anywhere in the manuscript. A separate file containing name of the author, designation, institutional affiliation and title of the submission shall be submitted along with the manuscript.
- All the submissions must be in .doc/.docx format
- The title of the file of the manuscript shall be the title of the submission.
- The subject of the email should be ‘Submission for Journal of Intellectual Property Laws’.
- The submissions must be original and shall not be under consideration in any other journal.
- The decisions of the editors shall be final and binding.
- All the communications must be made to the provided email id.
- The body of the manuscript must be according to the following specifications:
- (a) Times New Roman font (b) Font size 12 (c) Line spacing 1.5
- Footnotes must be in Times New Roman, font size 10 with single line spacing.
