14th Antitrust Moot Court Competition
The Pre-Moot Conference was held on 21st February 2025. The conference featured three insightful panel discussions on the themes: Exploring Emerging Antitrust Challenges in Digital Markets, Interoperability as a Catalyst for Fair Competition in AI Ecosystems, DMA vs. DCB: Indian Market Analysis. Aparna Mehra (Trilegal), Bharat Bhudolia (AZB & Partners), Karan S. Chandhiok (Chandhiok & Mahajan), Pranjal Prateek (Khaitan & Co.), Meghna Bal (Esya Centre), Mohith Gauri (AZB & Partners), Krithika Ramesh (Trilegal), Jincy E. Francis (FTI Consulting) Radhika Seth (Shardul Amarchand Mangald, as & Co.) were the distinguished experts leading the discussion at the panels. The moot problem for this edition revolved around Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its regulatory challenges, aligning with Competition Commission of India’s growing focus on AI governance. Dr Nikita Koradia – Assistant Professor and Head – Centre for Competition Law and Market Study coordinated the event.
International Conference on Climate Change Litigation
The Institute of Law, Nirma University organised the inaugural ceremony of 2-day International Conference on Climate Change Litigation: Emerging Issues and Concerns at the Institute of Law on June 1, 2024. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the distinguished presence of Hon’ble Mr Justice Swatanter Kumar – Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, Former Chairperson, National Green Tribunal as Chief Guest at the event.
