Institute of Law, Nirma University organises national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and symposia. The conferences held at the Institute aim to cater knowledge sharing experience in various areas of constitutional, criminal, corporate and other related areas.
The Institute of Law, Nirma University organised the inaugural ceremony of 2-day International Conference on Climate Change Litigation: Emerging Issues and Concerns at the Institute of Law on June 1, 2024. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the distinguished presence of Hon’ble Mr Justice Swatanter Kumar – Former Judge, Supreme Court of India, Former Chairperson, National Green Tribunal as Chief Guest at the event.
Institute of Law, Nirma University organised the ILNU Antitrust Conference 2024 on the 23rd of February, 2024. Prof. (Dr.) Madhuri Parikh- Dean and Director (I/c), at the institute shared that this conference has served as a dynamic platform for the exchange of innovative ideas, diverse perspectives, and ground-breaking research across various disciplines. Dr. Nikita Koradia Head – Centre for Competition Law and Market Study was the coordinator at the event.
The 12th National Students Conference on Humanitarian Protection with Modern Technology was held offline on 16th February 2024 at the Institute of Law, Nirma University. This conference, organized by the Centre for International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, aimed to generate awareness, foster dialogue, and propose solutions to pressing challenges. The conference revolved around the theme of “Humanitarian Protection with Evolution of Modern Technology and Global Threats.” It sought to address critical issues at the intersection of technology, humanitarian protection, and global security.
The XI edition of National Students Conference on Urban Warfare and the Protection of Refugees in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) India was inaugurated at the Institute of Law on March 18, 2023.
The Moot Court Committee, Institute of Law, Nirma University organised the XII ILNU Antitrust Moot and Conference 2023 from Feb 24-26, 2023. The event took forward the stellar legacy of conducting Eleven successful editions of the ILNU National Moot Court Competitions. The event was graced by the eminent presence of Shri K K Patel, Vice-President- Nirma University, Dr Anup K Singh, Director General-Nirma University and Prof (Dr) Madhuri Parikh, Director and Dean (I/c), Institute of Law-Nirma University.
