The Moot Court Committee, Institute of Law, Nirma University organised the XII ILNU Antitrust Moot and Conference 2023 from Feb 24-26, 2023. The event took forward the stellar legacy of conducting Eleven successful editions of the ILNU National Moot Court Competitions. The event was graced by the eminent presence of Shri K K Patel, Vice-President- Nirma University, Dr Anup K Singh, Director General-Nirma University and Prof (Dr) Madhuri Parikh, Director and Dean (I/c), Institute of Law-Nirma University.
The event provided a common platform for all the law students having an inclination towards Competition Law and the Art of Mooting. The MCC(O), ILNU collaborated with FTI Consulting and Compass Lexecon as Principal Partners, and AZB & Partners, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Nishith Desai & Associates, Chandhiok & Mahajan, Axiom5 Law Chambers, DSK Legal, Saraf & Partners, & AnantLaw as Associate Partners for this flagship event. The team from NALSAR was adjudged the winner of the competition and NLU- Jodhpur bagged the runner up position. Prof Nikita Koradia, Assistant Professor at the Institute was the event coordinator.
This initiative was a projection of the commitment of ILNU towards providing holistic and meaningful legal education to students Pan-India. The event was conducted in two stages: The Pre-Moot ILNU Antitrust Conference and The XII ILNU Antitrust Moot, 2023. ILNU Antitrust Moot is a flagship Moot Court Competition, wherein quality mooters have consistently participated from across the nation. This Competition has been a hub of excellence, eminence, academic and advocacy prowess. ILNU Antitrust Moot has witnessed tremendous success over the last decade.
