The Institute of Law, Nirma University celebrated its 20th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm, marking two decades of academic excellence, professional development and contribution to the legal education sector on August 18, 2026. The celebration brought together eminent guests, faculty members, students, alumni and distinguished members of the legal fraternity.
The chief guest at the occasion was Honourable Mr. Justice Biren A. Vaishnav,The Lokayukta of Gujarat, Former Acting Chief Justice, High Court of Gujarat. The dignitaries congratulated the Institute on completing twenty successful years and appreciated its sustained commitment to quality legal education, research and the overall development of students. A major highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of meritorious students and faculty members for their outstanding achievements during the academic year. Students who excelled in scholastic performance, moot court competitions, debates, legal research and other academic and co-curricular activities were honoured with medals, certificates and awards. Faculty members were also felicitated for their significant contributions to research, publications, academic excellence, mentoring and institutional development. Their achievements were recognised as an important factor behind the Institute’s growing academic reputation. The students brought laurels to the Institute through their commendable performances in national and state-level moot court competitions, debate competitions, research activities and other scholastic events.
