Centre for Environmental Law (CEL), Institute of Law, Nirma University, participated in Climate Catalyst Summit 2.0 held on 12th August 2025 at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA). We emerged as the Best Panel under the theme of “Tackling Carbon Emissions from Transport, Industry, and Urban Construction”.
The summit, organised by Paryavaran Mitra in collaboration with GPCB and Aditya Birla Group, brought together 22 teams from different institutions, to deliberate on “Curbing the Climate Change Problem with Youth’s Participation.”
Katyayini Rana (Batch 2023), Rohit Asnani (Batch 2023), Anand Singh (Batch 2024), Sarthak Gupta (Batch 2024), and Vandana Pareek (Batch 2024) presented on third theme under the title: “Climate Footprint of Urbanization: Measuring and Managing Impact – A Case Study of Ahmedabad.” For their exceptional performance, each student was felicitated with a Gold Medal and a Merit Certificate.
