The Institute of Law, Nirma University (ILNU) celebrated Constitution Day on November 26, 2024, with a series of thought-provoking activities designed to deepen understanding and appreciation of constitutional principles. The event garnered enthusiastic participation from students, making it a remarkable and impactful celebration.
The program featured an Essay Competition on the topic “The Cornerstone of Justice: Exploring Writ Jurisdiction in India”, a Quiz Competition testing knowledge of Constitutional Law, a Just a Minute (JAM) Extempore on pivotal constitutional propositions, and a compelling Judgment Discussion on the AMU Minority Status Case (AMU through Registrar v. Naresh Agarwal).
These intellectually engaging activities offered students an exceptional platform to critically analyze constitutional values and discuss their practical implications. The celebration exemplified ILNU’s unwavering dedication to cultivating legal acumen and instilling a profound respect for the ideals enshrined in the Indian Constitution.
