Centre for Environmental Law in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Institute of law Nirma University, conducted a two days expert lectures on January 6-7, 2025 for the students of semester X doing elective course of Climate Change Law. Ms. Kanchi Kohli, Climate Educator, Researcher and accomplished author was the resource person at the event. The two days event focused on Constructing and deconstructing the Problem and Crisis of Climate Change, understanding its global challenges north versus south, local and domestic issues from India’s standpoint and discussing the concept of Climate justice. The purpose of this initiative was to provide hands on exercises to students on climate issues and decision making involving various stakeholders like, OPEAC, India, UNFCC, ICJ, etc and to impart holistic and clinical legal education. Earlier, Prof. Madhuri Parikh, Dean& Director(I/c) delivered the welcome address. Dr. S P Rathor & Dr. Parna Mukherjee were the event co-coordinators.
