Institute of Law, Nirma University conducted an expert session on the theme “Process and aspects of mediation as ADR mechanism.” Shri R. A. Trivedi, Member Secretary, Gujarat State Legal Service Authority was the Speaker at the event. He enlightened the student on the present judicial working system of courts in India and the importance of ADR mechanism in dispute resolution. He discussed various aspects of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanism with special focus on Mediation. The applicability of ADR systems on different fields, the legality and judicial aspects including the case laws like Afcon ltd. v. CVC case and the working of Lok Adalats was deliberated in the session.
