Institute of Law, Nirma University kick-started its annual Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled ‘E-Content Development and Video Production for MOOCs’ under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Nirma University and in collaboration with National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal (Deemed-to be University under Distinct Category) Ministry of Education, Government of India from June 29 – July 15 2026.
The chief guest for the occasion was Prof. Jagdish Joshi, Director, HRDC, Gujarat University who delivered a talk on the ‘Importance of MOOCs in the age of AI’ followed by training sessions by the program coordinators, Mrs. Asmita .A. Khajanchee, Associate Professor, Department of Educational Technology and Dr. Suman Pattnaik, Associate Professor, Department of Educational Technology, Bhopal. Dr. Madhuri Parikh, Director and Dean, ILNU, in her welcome address, highlighted that this year’s faculty development program aims to give hands-on training to the faculty members from planning to execution of development of E-content through MOOCs through demonstration, assignments, practice task as instructional strategies.
