ILNU participated at the National-Level Program ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Ki Aur 4.0’ in Mumbai

The Institute of Law, Nirma University participated in the National-level programme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Ki Aur 4.0”, organised by the JYTO Foundation in collaboration with Nalanda University at Mumbai with the support of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India on January 16-17, 2026.

Students and faculty representatives from the institute participated in academic, judicial, and policy-oriented sessions alongside eminent jurists and academicians. ILNU students actively took part in national-level Moot Court, Debate Competitions, and Model United Nations, gaining valuable academic and practical exposure. The event featured lectures and panel discussions on constitutional governance, artificial intelligence, sustainability, peace, and emerging socio-legal challenges. A thematic exhibition and special addresses by distinguished speakers enriched deliberations on constitutional, ethical, and humanitarian values.

ILNU students won the Debate Competition held at this conclave, which encouraged logical reasoning, respectful disagreement, and articulation of informed perspectives.  The event offered valuable learning in persuasive communication, critical analysis, and collaborative thinking.  Names of the winners: Rohit Asnani (Batch 2023), Yasheswi Kumawat (Batch 2025), Mehal Goyal (Batch 2025), Navya Garg (Batch 2025), Vibhuti Jakhar (Batch 2025), and Bhavishya Chandak (Batch 2025).

ILNU students were semi-finalists at the Moot Court Competition held at this conclave, which promoted legal reasoning, advocacy skills, and practical application of law.  Names of the semi-finalists: Vyapti Tyagi (Batch 2025), along with Geetali Joshi (Batch 2025) and Aarushi Goenka (Batch 2025).

ILNU students also participated in Model United Nations and The Street Play (Nukkad Natak) competitions at the conclave.  For MUN, Aanya Singh (Batch 2025) was awarded a Special Mention for her performance, while Bhavishya Chandak (Batch 2025), Parkhi Singhal (Batch 2025), and Sunidhi Kothari (Batch 2025) represented their respective committees and countries with dedication.  Also for the Street Play Aarush Jain (Batch 2025), Chavi Sharma (Batch 2025), Mannat Sheoran (Batch 2025), Ayonija Anand (Batch 2025), Janvi Gupta (Batch 2025), Anjani Rathi (Batch 2025), and Somya Chawla (Batch 2025) performed a play highlighting a social cause for the community.

In conclusion the National-level programme such as “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Ki Aur 4.0 provided students with a platform to develop leadership skills, communication, creativity and inter-personal and analytical skills.
