Internalization at ILNU: Update on Student-Exchange Program

Two students from the University of Nevarra (UPNA) under the MoU between Nirma University and UPNA have been invited for a research based internship on “Impact of Climate Change and Building Community Resilience with Specific Reference to the Role of Local Self-Government in Gujarat: An Analytical Study,” funded by the Government of Gujarat. The duration of the internship is August-November, 2024. The students are Ms. Africa Carrillo de Albornoz Carricas and Ms. Rosa Jimenez Leon.

The internship entails the development of survey instruments and observation protocols for data collection in collaboration with local stakeholders; fieldwork and data collection on climate change impacts and local governance practices; and compilation of findings into comprehensive reports and recommendations for stakeholders and policymakers.
