An expert session on “Making of an Arbitral Award and its Recognition and Enforcement” was conducted at the institute on October 20, 2023. Mr Tejas Karia, Partner and Head of Arbitration at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. was the resource person at the session. He discussed intricacies of the arbitral process undertaken in International Commercial Arbitration; and deliberated on several crucial aspects – forms and contents of an arbitral award, execution of an arbitral award, enforcement of foreign arbitral awards and the challenges thereof.
