The Campus Recruitment Cell, Institute of Law, Nirma University organised the NGO Conclave 2025 on 3rd, 4th 6th and 7th November for first-year students with the objective of providing them exposure to the functioning and societal impact of NGOs. These organisations represented diverse focus areas such as environmental protection, child rights, women empowerment.
Conducted in an online mode over four days, the Conclave featured eight distinguished speakers, including Mr. Mahesh Pandya, Director, Paryavaran Mitra; Mr. Uttam Sharma, Founder, Humankind NGO; Ms. Sanjivani Singh, Co-Founder, Spinning Wheel Leadership Foundation; Mr. Kumar Nilendu, General Manager, CRY – Child Rights and You; Ms. Zeel Shah, Founder, Sahaay NGO; Ms. Poornitha Nambiar from ChangeInkk Foundation; Ms. Julie Panchal, Managing Trustee, Sakshar Foundation; and Ms. Aastha A. Kanodia, Founder, Asaadharan Foundation.
Across the four days, 2 experts each day addressed the students followed by an interactive Q&A segment. The speakers shared valuable insights into operational challenges, project execution, and the broader role of NGOs in social development. The Conclave witnessed active student participation with meaningful engagement throughout. The speakers appreciated the initiative and acknowledged the student’s enthusiasm and thoughtful questions.
