The students at the Institute had a wonderful opportunity to interact with Hon’ble Judge Mel Flanagan Former Circuit Judge USA and Adjunct Professor, University of Sarajevo, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She spoke on the theme: Gender Justice and Feminist Jurisprudence. She elaborated on Gender Justice as a positive movement towards achieving equity in all spheres of life. As an intersectional approach it centres around the diverse needs, experience, leadership of people most impacted by discrimination and oppression and how such a justice framework would allow movements to define its own priorities and indicators of success for overall societal benefit.
