A session on “Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)” was conducted on 13th October 2025 to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the legal, financial, and regulatory aspects governing power procurement in India.
The session was led by Ms. Deepika Bahirwani, Principal Associate at Khaitan & Co and alumna of the Institute, who shared her practical insights into the structure and negotiation of PPAs within the energy sector. Key discussions covered the contractual framework, risk allocation, tariff determination, and obligations of stakeholders, along with recent trends and challenges in renewable energy projects.
