The Inaugural Ceremony of the International Conference on Law and Governance was organised virtually by Student Research Council (SRC), Institute of Law, Nirma University on April 12, 2025. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Biren A. Vaishnav, Judge High Court of Gujarat graced the event as Chief Guest. In his keynote address, the Chief Guest emphasized upon the interconnection between law, governance, and the Constitution of India. He highlighted the role of judiciary in fostering economic justice. Prof. (Dr.) Madhuri Parikh- Dean and Director, Institute of Law in her welcome address elaborated on the SRC’s vision and ILNU’s academic ethos. Dr. Amit K. Kashyap, Faculty Coordinator, introduced the conference objectives and theme reflecting the dynamic challenges of modern governance. He stated that the two-day virtual event features keynote addresses, panel discussions, and about 70 research paper presentations. The conference themes span across trade, economics, environmental governance, technology, and constitutional checks and balances. Mr. Prabhav Tripathi- Student Convenor delivered the vote of thanks.
