The Institute of Law, Nirma University in collaboration with the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) organised a two-day seminar titled “Beyond Disclosure: ESG and Business and Human Rights in India” on 14–15 October 2026. The seminar explored Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks focusing on corporate accountability, labour rights, environmental protection and challenges faced by MSMEs. Various Experts discussed corporate responsibility, sustainability reporting, human rights due diligence and accountability across supply chains. The seminar provided PG & UG students with a platform to critically examine ESG regulations and the role of legal professionals in promoting responsible business practices and human rights.
